Jazz Potter
Jazz Potter is a local artist working at Kingsland studios in St Phillips. Her work centres around the idea of colour and form escapism in imagined landscapes. Her work moves from the figurative to the abstract but a consistent thread is her use of rich colour.
Jazz enjoys exploring colour in a playful way and creates her vivid paintings through many layers of paint using an array of mark making and washes. Her practice involves a lot of energy and the artist hopes for her work to exude a lively and effervescent feeling. Enjoy the vibrant and lively patterns in her work and immerse yourself into the mood of the space she is creating.
