Lucy Forde

I’m Lucy – by day, I work in an office. But after a 13-year creative hiatus, I’ve been building up my art practice in my spare time. Since I began making art again, my drawings, paintings and prints have become bolder. I’m drawn towards bright inks, pastels and oil paints that, rather than portray something literally, reflect a feeling or characteristic. Returning to my art practice after so many years has been exciting and rewarding (as well as challenging!). Like most creative people, art is my way of processing everything in life – so I’m excited to see where this all takes me.
